As a housing association, The Wrekin Housing Trust aims to keep costs to a minimum to protect the affordability of its services to residents. So, it chose to benchmark its supplies against the market.
OfficeTeam demonstrated best value, so the Trust switched to us for its stationery and EOS requirements. Since then we have worked with the Trust to deliver a range of additional products and services, becoming a reliable and cost-effective partner for several of its office supplies needs.
When OfficeTeam was selected as the Trust’s provider of stationery and EOS, an Account Manager was immediately allocated to support the service. This individual has been the Trust’s first point of contact from implementation onwards.
The Trust had recently introduced a bespoke online ordering system, iBuy. All departments and locations within the Trust can access the system, so the Trust wanted its office supplies to be available via the same platform. The Account Manager worked with technical teams on both sides to bring about a successful integration.
Following the integration, staff at 20 locations in three counties can order from us via the platform, including sites with as few as one or two staff. Regardless of their size, they all benefit from a fixed discount structure and free next day delivery, saving staff at smaller offices making ad hoc purchases with petty cash.
Following the successful introduction of the stationery and EOS contract, the Trust has approached us with several new requirements as they have arisen. As a result, we now provide several additional products, including printed materials such as the Trust’s marketing materials and tenancy agreements. We have also supplied furniture items for several offices. As a single source solution for these items, we’re helping the Trust to achieve better value on even more of its supplies.
The Trust’s Account Manager carries out quarterly Contract Reviews to review departments’ spending and the core list. This provides a continual focus on securing best value, supporting the Trust’s objective to provide affordable services to its residents.
Based on the success of the service, the Trust has just extended the agreement for another year.
