Who are Rathbone Brothers PLC?
Rathbone Brothers are a long established client of OfficeTeam and currently purchase a wide selection of goods and services predominantly Office Supplies and Print. They have twelve offices throughout the UK and the Channel Isles with the principal locations in Liverpool and London.
The project brief was to supply new bench workstations, task seating, storage, and break out, dining and meeting room furniture for 350 staff over two floors of No1 Curzon Street. At the early stages the design and specification of the product had yet to be determined and over the next two months OfficeTeam and Rathbone worked closely together to design and develop product to accommodate their evolving needs incorporating a high degree of cable management, desk top power, bespoke under desk storage and high capacity vertical storage. We supplied ‘mock ups’ of several workstation configurations for evaluation by both staff and the management team and arranged visits to the showrooms. We were awarded the contract in September of 2011 and continued to work on the design detail up to the placing of orders in November. The final specification of the bench product and associated desk height storage was a completely bespoke design based upon our OfficeTeam Bench product. We were also actively involved in revisions of floor plans and layouts in conjunction with the architect which was undertaken in house by our own design team.
Installation was scheduled from early Jan until late Feb 2012 for occupation in March. Installation was phasedin accordance with the general contractors building programme and access to the building. An exacting degree of logistical management meant we were able to overcome the difficulties experience with the situation of their Curzon Street offices, which are right in the heart of London’s West End.
Final installation took place on the 28th February 2012 with all products delivered and installed on time, to budget and to Rathbone’s complete satisfaction.
