Who are WRVS?
WRVS is an age positive national charity founded over 70 years ago. A Volunteers and Charity Work organisation, it offers opportunities for volunteer workers to help older people across the UK. WRVS believes that every older person should have the chance and choice to get more out of life.
At a local community level they deliver practical support through local volunteers to support older people. At a national level they raise awareness of the issues older people face.
