OfficeTeam was already supplying furniture to Mosscare Housing. So, when the stationery tender was released, we were keen to demonstrate how we could deliver best value through cost savings, coupled with our proven, high levels of service.
Following a successful proposal, Mosscare Housing awarded us its stationery contract. Since then, we have successfully quoted for Mosscare Housing’s print requirements – allowing us to provide the same levels of service across an even wider selection of products.
Furthermore, we have since taken on the supply of Mosscare Housing’s print requirements, after demonstrating a further saving on a quote for some of its key print runs. We now supply general printed stationery such as letterheads, compliments slips and business cards, along with sector-specific items such as gas safety pads and two-part calling-cards.
Now, Mosscare Housing places a monthly order for their core list stationery supplies. Using our OfficeTeam Connect online ordering portal, users can choose from a selection of pre-approved products – providing a streamlined approach to ordering these office essentials.
Ad hoc orders for non-core stationery, printed supplies and furniture are placed by contacting the Account Manager direct, who applies an agreed discount to these items. This setup has given Mosscare Housing a cost-effective means to fulfil its one-off needs, for example the delivery of coveralls ahead of staff undertaking a house clearance. If Mosscare Housing believes the item is likely to be ordered frequently, we add it to the core-list – once again, making it easier for staff to obtain these everyday supplies.
Stationery and furniture are delivered direct to sites, with free installation of any new furniture items, as well as free removal of any furniture which is being replaced. Printed products are delivered to Head Office for checking prior to onward distribution to individual sites. Mosscare Housing’s Account Manager also arranges on-site review meetings, supported by detailed management information. Together, we use these meetings to assess the performance of the consolidated service and identify any further cost saving opportunities.
