Warehouse network

We have almost one million square feet of warehousing spread across 15 regional stocking points. This allows us to stock more products at locations closer to our clients’ sites – so goods are available for rapid local delivery. This makes us a perfect fit for multi-site, nationwide businesses.

We currently stock over 35,000 catalogue items, which are available for rapid next day delivery. Furthermore, we have capacity to stock bespoke items on our clients’ behalf (e.g. specials), so these lines are available for call-off alongside our catalogue goods. Where we hold stock on your behalf, we’ll monitor your stock levels and replenish stock based on your usage to ensure future availability.

Our network of sites makes our solution more resilient, as there is no single point of failure.

Our warehousing is complemented by an in-house logistics fleet of 270 OfficeFleet-liveried vans, driven by our directly-employed drivers. This gives us greater control over when and where your goods reach you.

We recognise for many customers their delivery driver is the face of our business. To ensure high levels of customer service, our fleet is driven by our own highly-trained team of uniformed drivers. Because we use our own team, we can give them specific delivery instructions based on your requirements – for example, to deliver parcels to a specific place, or make multiple drops across the same site.

Live delivery updates

In order to provide an efficient service, we’ve implemented a state-of-the-art route management system. This allows us to plan optimal delivery routes to save time between drops. Meanwhile, our onboard tracking devices allow you to follow the progress of your delivery online in ‘real time’ via our SmartPad system. Upon delivery, our uniformed drivers will ask the recipient for a digital signature which is immediately visible online, providing a full delivery audit trail.

OfficeTeam has been awarded Gold Fleet status by Masternaut in recognition of our fleet’s above average fuel efficiency compared to data from other fleets. The award follows OfficeTeam being crowned Gold for Best Sustainable Transport at the Global Good Awards 2018.
