Case study

WHSmith

Following a period of expansion, space was tight in WHSmith’s London office near Holborn. When the lease was due for renewal, the high street newsagent decided to relocate to a larger premises. After finding a roomier space in Houndsditch, London, WHSmith called on longstanding supplier InteriorsTeam to ready the new space for the move. InteriorsTeam supported the end-to-end planning, delivery and installation of a fresh interior for WHSmith’s new location.

We arranged showroom visits to select the furnishings and introduced configurations that promote modern, agile ways of working – including benched seating and informal meeting pods. The installation was complete with desktop electrics and monitor arms, ready for WHSmith’s staff to resume work in their spacious, new London office.

Changing work styles are a common theme of today’s workplace, with employees working longer hours and technology developing with each generation that joins the workforce.
